• The Yale Food Addiction Scale is modeled as other assessments tools used determine various addictions, specifically the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental (DSM) Disorders IV-R.  This assessment was automated to allow individuals to take it at their convenience.  Typically it is administered and interpreted by a licensed psychologist during Structured Clinical Interview for DSM Disorders.

The YFAS can help us baseline the degree of the food addiction.  Once baselined we can monitor progress (or lack of it) as the participants of programs rewire their brains.
